Will I still be able to see chat history in WhatsApp after switching to the API?

No — once your number is registered with the WhatsApp Business API, you will lose access to any chat history stored in the regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business mobile app. The app will no longer work with that number.

However, Saski AI provides a built-in conversation history panel where you can view all messages exchanged between users and your AI assistant. This includes conversations from WhatsApp, as well as from other channels like SMS, Messenger, and your website.

This ensures that you still have full visibility into customer interactions — even though the native WhatsApp app no longer stores or displays them.
